Stump Sprouts COVID Info

1.16 Update

Quick take:Much has changed

We expect you to be familiar with and adhere to Massachusetts State guidance.

Day Use

Expanded hours/days, expanded activities. No trail fee. No indoor comforts.

Avoid socializing in parking areas or at intersections on busy days

We plan to be open for day-use winter sports activities this season. Your experience will be more like a visit to a State Park. Dog walking, biking, hiking may be possible sometimes when you can't ski or snowshoe

Equipment Rental

Equipment on a "take out basis", similar to the way many restaurants currently operate. Rentals are for on-site use only at this point. Visit https://www.stumpsprouts.com/winter-recreation for specific new information before you come.

Trail Conditions

Always check this report before coming!

An expanded trail report is being posted this winter. Besides snow conditions, it will include suitablility for different sports, driving/parking conditions and today's dog policy.

Winter Lodging

We are now taking reservations for the time between Feb. 21 and April 15. The lodge may be reserved by single parties of 10 persons or less who are already functioning as a pod. The lodge is only availble on a self-catering basis. A minimum rental of 4 days is required.

Spring, Summer and Fall

We are not taking reservations for dates starting after April 15 at the present time. Like the rest of the world, we are closely watching the course of the pandemic. We expect the post-Covid "road map" to become clearer in the weeks ahead.
