Conditions:
Today's Forecast: snow ending during the afternoon high of 33
Snow base: 6 inches of new over 1-2 inches of soft base
Snow surface: soft new wet snow
Classical: no grooming
Skating: going to be a slog
Backcountry: all open
Snowshoe: all open
Fat Biking: closed for today
Comments:
The Sox are playing just okay and the FIS World Cup season is over but we are briefly back to skiing. BYOT (break your own trail) or better yet convince someone else to go first. Bring the older skis as the base is soft. And, bring the glide wax for this spring snow. Lodge is open, summer rates apply: $2 in the trailhead tube if you are not a member. We will do some plowing.
